1. dreamt i was in my hometown and every house and school and restaurant was missing and the only way to return it back to normal was if I remembered it precisely as it was. If i failed to do so..the universe would collapse. and I had to do it by walking down every street with my eyes closed just remembering it all..!
2. dreamt 2 and a half of my teeth fell out. the two that fell out intact had braces connecting the two. the third was partly attached to those two and partly still in my mouth. it was crunchy and salty and bloody and terribly, terribly uncomfortable. I woke up checking my teeth and all was well.

things for me to do while feeling glum in this new and sometimes lonely place:
1. assemble a care package of all things virginia and send it on home
2. buy postcards at the museum and send those too.
3. find a bike, and actually get one, not just browse around on craigslist.
4.be brave and go to a bar by yourself.
5.read, read, read! even if its a crap magazine.
6.go to hollywood cemetery, even if you have to take a cab.
7.sign up for an art class or something of that sort and stick to it!
8. go to a show.
9. apply to grad schools that have always interested you.
10. head to the thrift store and stay awhile..
11. just take a long walk and haul off iced coffee
12. even if you're sans sewing machine, you can still sew by hand!
13.cook something new and exciting!
14. watch girly nineties movies (clueless is on netflix now).
15. call your brother.
16. get your nose pierced
17. climb a tree
9. if a guy wants to take you for fish tacos the morning after an epic night, but you don’t want to because you want coffee and breakfasty food like any other sane person would want when they’re hung over on a sunday after a crazy night of drinking lethal margaritas followed by champagne… just go with the flow and eat the fish tacos. here’s why: you might actually like them; saying ‘yes’ to the experience will make you you appear to be a fun girl who’s hassle free and easy to be with who tries new things on a whim; or BETTER YET, you might get food poisoning and lose seven pounds! either way… YOU WIN!
